 Where is the studio located?

You can call for directions but once you've booked in with will send through a map as part of our booking confirmation package.
We also offer home and location sessions throughout the Sydney Area with a $25 fee for Greater Sydney.
What are your hours at Animax Photography?
We are here from 10-6 Mon, Wed, Thurs, and Fri.  10-4 Saturdays. We are closed on Sunday & Tuesdays. Weekend and evening appointments are available as needed. We are always happy to find a time that works for you and your pet.
What makes Animax Photography special?
At Animax we specialise in capturing every pets personality and work with you to design a shoot that reflects your personal tastes and preferences.
Our photographers are all fully trained in commercial photography and have many years experience. Unlike most photographers, we have a dedicated pet photography studio.  We are not wedding or portrait photographers that do some pet photography on the side.  Our studio allows us to provide a safe and distraction free environment for your favourite furries. Also, we will do many silly things to make your pet smile for the camera!
How much does a session with Animax cost?
Our sessions start at $150. For more information about our packages and prices please visit our contact page and drop us an email. We will send the information out to you within a few days.
Can you come to my city to shoot?
If you are interested in working with us, please drop us an email with your city in the subject line. We currently go to Melbourne twice a year. We will schedule a date when we have received sufficient interest for a particular area.
Can I get in some pictures with my pet?
Certainly, in fact we encourage it! If you want to have some 'family' photos just let me know on the day and dress with this in mind.
Can we bring more than one pet?
Each session caters for up to 2 pets unless otherwise stated. For more than 2 pets, there is an extra charge of $25 per pet over this as we add more time to the session to make sure we capture each animal properly.
When do we have to pay for our photo session?
Full payment of your session is expected on the day of the shoot. We have Visa, MasterCard and EFTPOS facilities in our studio. We also take cash, cheque and money order.
When do I get to see my pictures?
Your photos are ready for viewing by the end of the next week.
What are the turnaround times for orders?
Usually about 2 weeks for standard orders. Custom framing, photo-books and photo-bags can take up to 6 weeks.
Can we get a CD containing all the photos to print ourselves?
All images are copyright to Animax Photography. We have put a lot of effort into making our images the best they can be from the best training & equipment, to the best professional printers & framers. Due to our quality control, high res digital files are not for sale.
Should I have my dog groomed the day of the shoot?
This is up to you, as you know your dog best. Some dogs never look dirty while others live for the mud puddle! So a bath is up to you. Keep in mind that if your dog gets clipped and something goes wrong ie, too short or the wrong style, that will be how he/she will look in the photos so sometimes it is better to get them clipped the week before. Just in case!
Can we change the session date?
Let us know within 48 hours and we can reschedule the session to a time that suits you better. Just let us know as soon as possible.
What if the weathers really bad?
If it's a location shoot, we will contact you the morning of the shoot and decide how to proceed. If it is called off we will reschedule the shoot at a time that suits you.
